My laptop freezes when i change from balance or high performance to power saving mode. Its unresponsive until it ran out battery charge. I have tried ctrl+alt+del to get into task manager but its still unresponsive. I made the biggest mistake of using the option of upgrading my factory installed windows 10 home to pro version. Now my windows is showing 'Not activated'. When i try to activate it asks for a valid key or buy online which is almost the cost of this notebook. Can someone help me in restoring my windows from Pro version back to home version. I have reset my windows thrice through acer care.

Are you trying to connect an external keyboard?
One peculiarity of the R3 is that if you open the display past 180 degrees, it will go into 'Tablet' mode and turn the keyboard off. Might try opening the display clear to 360 degrees (flat again), wait a few seconds, then close back to 90 degrees. You should see a crude keyboard display on the screen momentarily.
